He is a member of the American College of Physicians. Patients visiting the office can expect friendly, helpful staff that speak English, Spanish, Hindi and Sindhi. His staff was great as well. I highly recommend Dr. Sawlani for your family doctor. Hi is okay, I had a back issue so hi could not help me much, but gives me a phone number of a great pain specialist.
He was easy to talk with but the surrounding and the state of the office was not trustworthy. The staff members were disorganized and all over the place. It was unclean and the "clinic" looked like a garage.
He saw me after an hour of waiting and I was on time for my appointment. I would recommend the doctor but if you have another choice, go there instead.
I really love this doctor, i have been trying to quit drinking for like 7 years, the moment he said dude stop boozing, I just quit, well atleast for a month. The best part is his hours are from 6: I think he has a certain doctor presence around him that u might have a chance of changing your lifestyle. My name is Riju varghese, I moved from Staten Island to queens and this doctor is very calm composed and ready to listen to your ailments.
I came in for a sinus infection and received the care I needed. He was prompt and called in my prescription right away, I really appreciated that. The office wasn't the nicest but everything else was great. I would go back, hopefully I don't need to! Staff did not know what to do. I went in for a sinus infection and he didn't even check my nose.
Do Not Go Here. Very small and intimate clinic. Friendly staff and quick wait time. Sawlani is very easy to talk to and is very attentive to the patients' needs. I've seen him a few of times and I feel like part of his family. The wait wasn't long but when I finally got called by the doctor, he only saw me for less than 5 mins and said "come another day because Im in a rush". Why did I even bother making the appointment then?
I will change to another doctor of course. He is fast and sufficient and will go the extra mile to do a job well done I have had a few appointments with him and as long as I am in Queens he will be my primary care physician! Horrible copayment was rediculous and a copy of my credit card. Looked at me for maybe 5 mins and prescribed antibiotic that I didn't take because he didn't tell me what was wrong with me.
Waste of time and money. Really dirty, cluttered, scary. Didn't have a credit card machine there and tried to make photo copies of my card to run it at home, which I refused and paid in cash instead. People there don't speak english very well and receptionist had no idea what she was doing. She didn't know what to do with our insurance card. Maybe it was her first day or she was just filling in for someone. This place is really only for anyone who doesn't have insurance or, like, on the run from the cops and just wants to get treated hush-hush.
Despite the office being small, I am really happy I decided to change my primary doctor to Dr. Sawlani and the nurse are very polite and professionals. They really cared about me and once I was called to be seen, they did everything really quick, I was out in less than half an hour.
Great with patients as i observed. He is down to earth and easy to approach, very professional. He accomodates and answers any concerns with my doctors visit.
Long wait, disorganize office but convenient since its close to me. Sawlani spent more time asking about my insurance than about the reaaon for my visit. Which in turn he asvised me he could not do the task since he didn't have a pool. I have been seeing Dr. Sawlani for a couple years now. He is a great doctor. Seems to be in a rush to get rid of patients. Also usually arrives tardy regularly. He is very attentive and caring. Doctor is caring, knowledgeable, and very professional.
I felt like I went through a drive-thru doctor. Sawlani was very late the evening that I went to see him. He had a few patients waiting for him when he arrived over an hour late. He came into the exam room asked me a few quick questions and then ran out to see the next patient. In addition, the office is unfavorable. The is no privacy because walls in the exam rooms do not reach the ceiling.
Everyone in the waiting area can hear your business. I think he was cruel. He laughed and told me to get over my panic attacks, suggested that I abuse my anxiety medication, and sent me away without a doctor's note for my full time job which I wouldn't have if I was abusing my meds! Now I have a cold, no instructions from this doctor, and no note that would allow me to stay home and rest tomorrow.
He is dedicated to his profession, concern about his patients and attentive to your questions. Sawiani spent the time required to listen and review my case in depth. He also explained my conditIon and treatment options in a way that I clearly understood.
After talking with The doctor I felt much calmer and informed about the severity and discomfort involved. The medication he prescribed is helping my symptoms very much. It is hard to find a Doctor that takes the time to listen. I voiced my concerns about my health and he suggested some lifestyle changes that would help instead of prescribing medication.
It's taken a while but I've just found my new Primary care physician. Sawlani was very courteous and professional. I was attended to right away. He was nice and friendly, but I waited a long time for him, but was in and out in less than ten mins. Sawlani is very close and convenient for me. Though his office is very small, they are prepared.
Very friendly as well. Deepak Sawlani has been my primary care doctor for approximately three years. I am very happy with the service Mr. He is very pleasant and he always take time to make sure whatever medical issue you have is taken care off or referred to the right doctor.
